INFORMATION : Bernard Buffet a effectué plusieurs reprises au pastel noir, notamment en partie inférieure sur le cyprès à gauche de la composition et le long du canal, renforçant ainsi certains traits. Ces modifications figurent d'ailleurs sur l'édition numérotée de cette gravure. On peut donc supposer que les Epreuves d'artistes correspondent au premier état de la gravure.

INFORMATION: Bernard Buffet made several repetitions with black pastel, notably in the lower part on the cypress to the left of the composition and along the canal, thus reinforcing certain features. These modifications also appear on the numbered edition of this engraving. We can therefore assume that the Artists' Proofs correspond to the first state of the engraving.
